The WAITING LIST

 

 

1.  The Opening and Closing Night Dinner Dances and both Lobster Bakes are traditionally completely "sold-out" events.

 2.  It is the long standing practice of the club that only "House-guests" from "out of town" who may be visiting "overnight" at the time these 4 specific events occur may be signed up with the member as guests.  They will be granted admission with the member.

   3.  Our "Single" regular members may bring a guest to any event. 

4.  All other "guests" will be accepted for an "Event Waiting List" in the order in which they were received.  By noon-time of the Wednesday preceding the event (3 days prior in the example of the upcoming Opening Night) it is assumed that all members who wish to attend will have signed-up. The Steward will then start notifying those members who signed up a guest on the "Event Waiting List" that their guests may be admitted. These notification calls will be made in the exact order the names appear on the "Event Waiting List". 

5.  We encourage our members who wish to invite guests to first extend an invitation to those people on the official "Club Membership Waiting List" who they may have initially sponsored.
